CSEM and MT getting noticed at this year’s IPTC

The 8th International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) is being held 10 – 12 December in KL at KLCC. CSEM and MT receive significant attention during the technical sessions with papers from Shell Brunei on how they integrated broadband seismic and CSEM to de-risk exploration targets along with three ePoster presentations from EMGS.

Shell Brunei

Friday afternoon, 12 December, Shell Brunei’s presenter is scheduled to talk about how Shell integrates broadband seismic and CSEM to de-risk exploration targets. Shell Brunei has developed a method toward discriminating compaction-related signatures from hydrocarbon-related anomalies from the regional CSEM data.
