Bjørn Petter Lindhom

Chief Executive Officer

Bjørn Petter Lindhom joined EMGS in 2003 and became the CEO in 2018. He joined EMGS as a field geophysicist in 2003 and has served in various positions within the company globally, including President of the North and South America Business Unit and President of the Europe, Middle East and Africa Business Unit. He has an MSc in physics from the University of Oslo (2001).

Anders Eimstad

Chief Financial Officer

Anders Eimstad joined EMGS in 2006 and became Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on 1 January 2020. Since joining EMGS he has held a number of positions within EMGS, most recently as VP Business Control. Anders holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University and a Master of Business Administration from Baylor University.

Dag Helland-Hansen

EVP Global Sales & Global Exploration Advisor

Dag Helland-Hansen joined the management of EMGS as Global Exploration Advisor in April 2018, with primary focus on supporting management and the global sales organization on strategy, adoption and sales. Dag brings with him Exploration Management and G&G experience from Norway and abroad as he has worked in various capacities for companies such as AkerBP, Tellus, Svenska, Idemitsu and Chevron. Dag holds an MSc degree in Reservoir Evaluation and Management from Heriot-Watt, Edinburgh, Scotland, in the UK and an MSc in Petroleum Geology and Geophysics from the Norwegian Institute of Technology.

He is based in Oslo.

Türk Muhlis Ünaldı

Chief Technology Officer and Advisor to the Board of EMGS

Türk Muhlis Ünaldı is a Houston-based global executive, entrepreneur, and technology leader with extensive experience across oil and gas, defense, AI-driven subsurface technologies, and international business development.

As CTO and advisor to the Board of EMGS, Muhlis brings a unique combination of technical expertise, commercial execution, and international strategic leadership. His experience spans seismic interpretation, reservoir geophysics, advanced exploration technologies, machine learning applications in subsurface prediction, contract negotiations, joint ventures, and large-scale energy projects across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Muhlis holds several patents and has contributed to the development of innovative technologies focused on energy exploration, subsurface imaging, and data-driven reservoir characterization. He is recognized for combining advanced technical solutions with practical operational execution to support complex energy initiatives in both domestic and international markets.

He studied at Boston University, Harvard University, and the University of Houston, and has authored and co-authored multiple technical publications in geophysics, machine learning, seismic inversion, AVO analysis, and real-time pore pressure prediction. His research and technical publications have been associated with academic and scientific programs supported through NASA grant initiatives and referenced within institutions such as the Smithsonian Institution and Harvard University.

Outside of his professional work, Muhlis is a dedicated father and passionate advocate for innovation, technology, and international collaboration.

Friedrich Roth

VP I&I and Global Geophysical Advisor.

Friedrich Roth manages our processing & interpretation services and advises customers on marine EM data applications. He brings over 20 years of experience in the geophysical and oilfield services industry, with a focus on the application of resistivity measurements in exploration. He began his career at SLB as a researcher specializing in resistivity borehole imaging. After joining EMGS in 2006, he held a range of technical and leadership roles across R&D and the geophysical production organization. In 2012, he was appointed VP of Imaging and Integration, and since 2019, he also serves as Global Geophysical Advisor. Friedrich is educated as a geophysicist and holds a MSc degree from the Colorado School of Mines, USA, and a PhD degree from the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands.

Atle Johan Bull Lund

VP of Global Operations

Atle Lund is VP of Global Operations at EMGS Global AS , where he leads geophysical surveys and offshore operations.

With more than 20 years of international experience in the energy industry, he has held senior operational and commercial leadership roles across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Americas.

Atle combines a strong technical background in physics with extensive experience in project execution, operational optimization, stakeholder management, and business development. He is recognized for delivering complex projects safely, efficiently, and on budget while building strong relationships between clients, partners, and EMGS teams.

Atle is based in Oslo.
