• EMGS reports multi-client sales

  Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has signed a data-licensing agreement with a customer worth USD 3.5 million for the provision of 3D EM data from EMGS's multi-client data library in the Barents Sea.

• EMGS – new contract for data acquisition in Norwegian Sea

  On 4 September 2014 Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) announced an agreement from Statoil Petroleum AS for the Norwegian Sea. 19 September, EMGS received a new contract from another oil and gas company worth USD 1.0 million for acquisition of 3D EM data in the nearby area.

• Improved interpretation gets to the root of salt

  An article published 2 September in Hart Energy's E&P discussed how 3D CSEM (controlled-source electromagnetic) data can be used to map salt bodies; and improve velocity models and seismic imaging in a traditionally difficult environment.

• EMGS – agreement with Petrobras for EM Leader

  Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has received a contract worth USD 5.5 million from Petrobras for 3D EM data acquisition in Brazil.

• EMGS – agreement with Statoil for the Norwegian Sea

  Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has received a supplement agreement from Statoil Petroleum AS worth approximately USD 1.0 million for multi-client 3D EM data acquisition in the Norwegian Sea.
